If a policy lapses, Platinum status will remain unchanged for 3 months from the date of lapse.

Whenever a customer reduces their premium or sum assured—whether through rider deletion or sum reduction—their segmentation status is automatically recalculated and updated in real time to reflect the change.
Yes, you can upgrade by increasing your annual premium to LKR 3 million or more. Once your new premium level is confirmed, your Union Assurance Platinum Circle membership will be activated automatically.

All benefits will be applicable only to the Main Life Assured, where the annualised premiums of all policies held by a policyholder are aggregated to determine eligibility, and apply only to customers whose total annualized premium is LKR 3 million or above

Short-pay and long-pay policies are included, with eligibility applicable only during the premium-paying term.

DTA (Decreasing Term Assurance) policies, Single Premium (Union Advantage) and Group Life Insurance policies are excluded.
